Our client is a well‑established heavy civil contractor specializing in municipal infrastructure, roadworks, underground utilities, and earthworks throughout Metro Vancouver. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

Manage multiple heavy civil construction projects from award through closeout.

Oversee project budgets, schedules, forecasting, cost control, and overall profitability.

Coordinate subcontractors, procurement, RFIs, change orders, and contract administration.

Work closely with Superintendents to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, municipalities, and project stakeholders.

Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations and company safety standards.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

5+ years of Project Management experience delivering heavy civil construction projects.

Proven experience managing projects valued between $5M–$20M .

Strong background in municipal infrastructure, underground utilities, roadworks, and earthworks.

Solid understanding of project financial management, scheduling, contract administration, and risk management.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software such as Jonas, Procore, or similar.

Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship‑building skills with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
