Our client is sourcing a Manager of Finance for an 18-Month Contract.

Location: 5 days in office located in Markham

About the Opportunity

Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.

Coordinate budgeting and forecasting activities, providing analysis and insights to senior leadership.

Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient flow of financial information.

Manage the annual external audit process and serve as the primary contact for auditors.

Prepare external financial statements and support technical accounting initiatives, including accounting position papers and policy implementation.

Oversee accounts payable, balance sheet reconciliations, and key financial controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Maintain the integrity of financial records and support process improvement initiatives.

Mentor and develop finance team members while fostering a collaborative environment.

Participate in special projects and other finance initiatives as required.

About You

CPA designation is required.

5+ years of experience in public accounting or a multinational corporate finance workplace.

Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting standards, and internal controls.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems; Oracle, SAP, or financial consolidation tools are considered assets.

and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
