Recognized by Sport Nova Scotia as the Provincial Sport Organization, the organization’s mission is to develop the future of golf in Nova Scotia while upholding the traditions of the game.Location: 5516 Spring Garden Rd, Halifax, NS B3J 1G6Posted: 2026-01-19Deadline: 2026-01-29Job SummaryGolf Nova Scotia is seeking a high energy, creative and skillful team player to fulfill the position of Technical Director.Reporting to the Executive Director, the Technical Director develops and manages sport development, programming and drives the growth of the game portfolio in alignment with the association’s strategic plan. The role works closely with Sport NS, Golf Canada, the provincial Department of Communities, Tourism, Heritage and Culture (CCTH) and the Canadian Sport Institute Atlantic (CSIA) on programming, funding and administration. The Technical Director is a key member of various committees and collaborates with Golf NS volunteers on events, programs, initiatives and officials.ResponsibilitiesBuild development pathways and grow the game strategies that align with PGA National Long‑Term Player Development (LTPD) guideLead the creation and execution of junior and adult programmingLead teams of coaches, support team members, staff and volunteersEx‑officio member of the Sport Development, EDIA (Equity, Diversity, Inclusion & Accessibility)
