Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board is hiring an Information Systems Technologist to enhance technology use across its school sites. This full time role focuses on providing essential technical support and deploying classroom technology.
In this role, you'll troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across various platforms, assist users, and maintain Board-owned technology. A two-year post-secondary diploma in IT and three years of experience in a complex networked workplace are required. You'll also document technical procedures, support technology lifecycle processes, and collaborate with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support to staff through remote and on-site assistance
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues




• Install and configure classroom equipment and applications
• Document all service and troubleshooting efforts
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and technology processes
Requirements:
• Two-year post-secondary diploma in IT or related area
• Three years of relevant tech support experience
• Experience with endpoint devices and operating systems
• Valid Ontario Class “G” Driver's Licence
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
