Gordon Food Service seeks a skilled Refrigeration Mechanic to ensure optimal performance of our refrigeration systems. Join our team to engage in preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs in a full time capacity.

This role requires a certified Inter-Provincial Journeyman Refrigeration Mechanic based in Alberta, fully equipped with hands-on experience in commercial refrigeration. You will engage in system monitoring, installation of refrigeration units, and compliance with safety protocols while keeping exact temperature settings for food preservation.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct preventative maintenance on refrigeration equipment
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical failures
Monitor system pressures and performance data




Maintain documentation for compliance with regulations
Assist with installation of current refrigeration systems

Requirements:
Inter-Provincial Journeyman Refrigeration Mechanic certification
Valid Alberta Class 5 driver's license
Long-term experience in refrigeration installation and repair
Knowledge of refrigeration codes and safety standards
Willingness to work on-call for emergencies
