Axiom seeks an experienced Product Counsel to partner with Google's R&D;, Marketing, and Engineering divisions. You will be instrumental in shaping legal frameworks while navigating complex technology contracts. In this role, staying informed on data privacy laws is essential to advise effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Advise product teams on legal matters from inception
Negotiate and draft technology agreements, including SaaS
Build collaboration among cross-functional teams
Evaluate global products for legal compliance and risks
Keep abreast of relevant regulations and industry standards
Requirements:
8+ years of legal experience as a product or technology counsel
Proven ability in managing complex legal projects
Called to the bar in Ontario
Experience working in-house preferred, especially in tech
Previous roles in R&D; and product launches are a plus.
