POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The welcoming Havre des Cantons residence in Magog is currently seeking a full-time Housekeeping Attendant for day shifts, Monday to Friday.

Schedule: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Salary: $19.25 to $20.75/hour

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
At all times, respect safety rules, intervene or inform your manager if elements appear to contravene WHMIS standards.
Carry out any other tasks related to his/her duties and at the request of his/her immediate superior.
Clean residents' bathrooms and toilets
Transparent corridors and access doors of items that could be cumbersome and affect the safety of residents
Ensure that the storage area for household products and the work cart are clean, protected and locked at all times
Respond to emergencies such as:



overflowing toilet, slippery surfaces, soiled area, etc.
Sweep and wash floors, dust furniture, window sills, mirrors or other areas where dust can accumulate

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
1 year of relevant experience will be considered an key asset
WHMIS training (an asset, provided on site if applicable)
Knowledge of household products and their use
