This role focuses on delivering an emergent curriculum that fosters each child's unique learning journey. You'll keep essential documentation, promote emotional and cognitive development, and work with external professionals when needed. Complying with health and safety regulations ensures a protected learning environment for all.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver curriculum tailored to individual children's developmental needs
Maintain records of progress and attendance accurately
Support all aspects of children's development in nurturing settings
Collaborate with external professionals to enhance care
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and licensing standards
Requirements:
Valid ECE License from Nova Scotia
Clear Vulnerable Sector and Child Abuse Checks
Standard First Aid and CPR Certification required
Ability to safely lift and move up to 45 lbs
