Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Captain to lead our vessel operations with confidence and precision. As the Captain, you will be responsible for navigating, managing crew, and ensuring the safety and efficiency of all maritime activities. Your leadership will drive smooth operations, uphold safety standards, and foster a positive team setting. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee complex vessel functions while maintaining the highest levels of safety and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

- Oversee all aspects of vessel navigation, ensuring adherence to maritime laws and safety protocols
- Lead and coordinate the crew, assigning duties and supervising daily operations to maximize efficiency
- Conduct routine inspections of the vessel’s mechanical systems, rigging, and safety equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Manage communication with port authorities, crew members, and external stakeholders to facilitate seamless operations
- Implement emergency procedures and respond swiftly to any incidents or safety concerns onboard
- Maintain detailed logs of voyage activities, maintenance schedules, and safety inspections




- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to vessel operation and crew safety

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Captain or in a similar leadership role within maritime or related industries
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and oversee vessel systems and rigging
- Excellent understanding of maritime navigation, safety standards, and regulatory compliance
- Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high safety standards under pressure
- Valid maritime certification/license appropriate for vessel operation in your region
- Demonstrated ability to perform routine mechanical inspections and understand rigging procedures
- Exceptional communication skills for clear coordination with crew, port authorities, and emergency responders

Pay: $65,766.17-$163,036.79 per year
