Big Smoke Burger is a quick-service gourmet burger restaurant focused on serving high-quality burgers, fresh-cut fries and beverages in a casual and welcoming atmosphere. We are looking for an energetic, positive and dependable Supervisor who is passionate about great food, strong teamwork and exceptional customer service.
What You’ll Do
Lead, supervise and support team members throughout each shift
Train and onboard new staff on restaurant procedures, food preparation and customer-service standards
Assign duties and manage staff performance during shifts
Provide friendly, personalized and attentive service to our guests
Handle staff concerns and customer complaints professionally and promptly
Ensure Big Smoke Burger’s recipes, preparation methods and quality standards are consistently followed
Prepare, portion, stock and rotate food products properly
Place inventory orders accurately and on time through supplier portals
Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or product concerns to management
Help the team work efficiently during busy periods
Complete opening and closing duties as required
Monitor food quality,
cleanliness and food-safety practices
Clean and maintain equipment, workstations, cooking utensils and kitchen areas
Follow all company policies, health regulations and workplace-safety procedures
What We’re Looking For
Minimum six months of kitchen or restaurant experience. Previous supervisory or leadership experience is preferred. Strong customer-service, communication and leadership skills .Comfortable using computers and online supplier-ordering portals Passion for food and the hospitality industry. Self-motivated, organized, energetic and dependable. Positive, skilled and team-oriented attitude Strong attention to detail Ability to remain calm and effective in a high-volume, fast-paced environment .Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Availability for early mornings, weekdays, weekends and holidays. Valid Food Handler Certificate is required Smart Serve certification is considered an asset.
