We are seeking dependable and motivated Manufacturing Machine Operators to join our fast-paced production team in Burlington. The successful candidate will operate production equipment, monitor quality, and help ensure production targets are met while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Location Requirement
This position is based in Burlington, ON. To ensure a reasonable commute and reliable attendance, preference will be given to candidates who live in Burlington, Oakville, Hamilton, or Mississauga. Applicants who are beyond Hamilton or Mississauga will not be contacted.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor manufacturing machinery according to established procedures.
- Load materials and remove finished products from production lines.
- Perform routine quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications.
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report equipment concerns to supervisors.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience is an asset but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Comfortable working in a hot manufacturing environment, particularly during warmer months or near production equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Maintain accurate production records.
- Keep workstations clean and organized.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
- Work as part of a team to achieve daily production goals.
