In our department, you will work at the heart of the most rapidly developing technology humankind has ever seen.Your opportunityWorking under the general direction of the Director, Information Technology, the incumbent will be responsible for the effective and timely implementation of new systems and technologies in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering. This includes leading the planning, coordination, and execution of technology initiatives; assessing departmental needs; and ensuring thatdeployed solutions align with faculty priorities and institutional standards. The incumbent will collaborate closely with academic, administrative, and technical staff to support teaching, research, and operational objectives, while providing guidance on best practices, emerging technologies, and process improvements. Additionally, the role involves monitoring project progress, identifying and resolving technical challenges, preparing relevant documentation, and contributing to long term strategic planning to enhance the department’s overall IT infrastructure and service delivery.Your responsibilitiesDesigning and implementing new operating systems and subsystems server softwarePlanning and implementing expansion and enhancement of IT networks independentlyAnalyzing,
