Job Description
The Mountain Sports School Schedule Supervisor is responsible for the successful daily operations of instructor scheduling and lesson flow throughout the winter season. This includes managing the full scheduling process, dispatching instructors at morning lineup, welcoming groups back at the end of lessons, handling last‑minute changes, and ensuring all schedule updates are accurately posted and communicated.
The Supervisor supports the Mountain Sports School Manager with day‑to‑day operational needs and acts as a key point of contact for instructors and guests regarding schedule‑related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Create, adjust, and maintain the instructor schedule for all lesson products daily
Send instructors and groups efficiently and professionally during morning line‑up dispatch
Welcome instructors and guests back, confirm lesson completion, and record updates at end of day
Manage sick calls, time‑off requests, and unexpected operational needs
Adjust groupings based on ability, numbers, or operational changes
Ensure the finalized schedule is communicated clearly and on time daily
Assist instructors with questions, concerns,
and operational guidance
Guest communication related to scheduling or lesson flow
Support the Mountain Sports School Manager with daily snow school operations
Other duties as required
Qualifications & Skills
Requirements: (Please note, only applications that meet the requirements will be considered)
Work eligibility in Canada – can provide work permit and SIN documentation
Minimum 2 seasons of Snow School supervisory or leadership experience
Minimum 3 seasons of experience as a ski or snowboard instructor
Robust computer skills — Microsoft Office, scheduling tools, POS systems
Passion for the mountains, guest service, and the sport
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Bondable, with a criminal record check less than 3 months old for new staff
Fluency in English; second languages are an asset
