About the Role
The Digital Transformation Engineer will lead the design, implementation, and automation of enterprise systems that modernize operations, improve efficiency, and enable data‑driven decision‑making, analytics, and application frameworks across the organization. This role bridges IT, engineering, and business process improvement through development of digital solutions that replace manual workflows and unify data across systems like SQL Server, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Power Apps, and Azure.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain integrations across ERP, SQL databases, APIs, and Microsoft Fabric (Dataflows, Lakehouse, Warehouse)

Develop data pipelines and semantic models to support real‑time dashboards and predictive analytics

Optimize existing SQL queries, stored procedures, and data flows for performance and reliability

Build low‑code/no‑code solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Azure Functions to digitize manual business processes

Develop web applications (React/Node.js or equivalent) that connect securely to on‑prem and cloud data sources

Automate data synchronization, reporting, and approval workflows across business units

Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs, develop Power BI dashboards, and ensure data integrity and governance

Create predictive and prescriptive analytics models to support data‑driven decision‑making

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Quality)



to map processes and identify opportunities for digital transformation

Support adoption, training, and documentation for new digital tools, data models, and workflows

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering

Additional Qualifications

Knowledge and use of MS Office suite and data management tools considered a strong asset

High level of professional ethics and conduct

Strong attention to detail, organizational, and documentation skills

Demonstrated ability in analytical thinking and decision making

Ability to utilize commonly accepted information systems and develop recent processes to achieve continuous improvement

Sharing in a team‑based environment and providing knowledge transfer when required

Ability to prioritize and complete work in a timely fashion; this is a fast‑paced quick‑turnaround environment

Ability to collaborate with peers at all levels within the organization
