Position Overview
We’re hiring a highly skilled Video Script Writer to lead content creation for the personal brand of our CEO operating in a B2B and B2G,environment . This role is fully focused on short-form social video —including Reels, Shorts, and TikTok-style content —with an emphasis on turning complex, professional subject matter into explicit, engaging, and authoritative content .

You’ll work with our executive content team to shape our CEO's voice online, translating ideas into compelling scripts that build credibility, trust, and influence at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Write high-impact scripts for short-form social video (Reels, Shorts, TikTok)

Translate complex business topics into simple, engaging, audience-friendly narratives

Capture and refine the executive’s authentic voice, tone, and point of view

Expected output: 3–5 scripts per week, with same-day turnaround on priority content.

Partner directly with the leadership member to develop content ideas and messaging

Optimize scripts for attention, retention,



and engagement (hooks, pacing, CTAs)

Adapt messaging specifically for professional audiences across B2B, B2G, and B2D spaces

Stay on top of social media trends and formats, applying them appropriately within a professional context

Iterate quickly based on feedback and content performance

Requirements

3–5 years of experience in social media content writing, copywriting, or video scripting

Proven experience writing for short-form, social-first video (Reels, Shorts, TikTok)

Strong understanding of personal brand building , especially for executives or industry leaders

Demonstrated ability to simplify and communicate complex or technical subject matter

Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with same-day delivery expectations

Strong instinct for what performs on social media (hooks, structure, tone)

Comfortable working onsite in downtown Toronto

Nice-to-Have

Experience working with executives, founders, or public-facing professionals

Background in professional services, government, or enterprise sectors

Familiarity with content analytics and performance optimization

Experience collaborating with video production teams
