Opportunity
Intermediate Structural Bridge Engineer in our Vancouver office. The role involves undertaking a variety of bridge projects for diverse clients, including BC Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure, BC Ministry of Forest Lands and Natural Resource Operations, municipalities, and private sector clients.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and technologists delivering bridge and transportation infrastructure projects across Western Canada.
Work autonomously and collaboratively, with opportunities to develop engineering career.
Plan, design, and analyze new and existing bridge structures, including conceptual,
preliminary, and detailed design phases.
Inspect and manage bridge inventories; assess and rehabilitate bridges.
Prepare and administer contracts.
Conduct condition assessments and create project management plans.
Participate in business development and prepare proposals.
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited post‑secondary institution.
Eligibility for professional registration with EGBC.
7+ years of progressive experience in structural engineering.
Experience with design, specifications, scheduling, cost estimating, tendering, construction, and inspections of bridges.
Proven technical skills.
Project management skills are an asset.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated interpersonal and organizational skills.
Team player with the ability to work independently with minimal direction.
Valid driver’s licence.
