Hiring: Interlock Installer (With Tools & Equipment)
We are growing and have multiple openings for experienced Interlock Installers. If you take pride in quality workmanship and already own the tools and equipment to get the job done, we want to meet you.
Professional Summary
Skilled Interlock Installer with 5+ years of experience in residential and commercial hardscaping. Equipped with complete professional tools and equipment, including plate compactor, cutting saws, levels, and hand tools. Strong ability to complete projects independently or with a crew while maintaining high-quality workmanship, drainage accuracy, and clean finishing standards.

Interlock driveway & walkway installation
Excavation & base preparation
Grading & slope correction
Bedding sand leveling
Retaining walls & steps (basic to advanced)
Drainage solutions
Site cleanup & finishing
Work Experience
Installed interlock driveways, patios, and walkways (100–10,000+ sqft projects)
Completed excavation, grading, and compaction work
Ensured proper water drainage and long-term stability
Worked with contractors and homeowners directly
Managed own tools, transport, and job scheduling
What You’ll Do
Install interlocking paver patios, walkways, driveways, and steps to spec and grade
Perform excavation, grading, base preparation, compaction, and screeding
Set edge restraints, soldier courses, and patterns; cut and fit pavers as required
Apply polymeric sand, final compaction, and site cleanup
Interpret drawings, set string lines/laser grades,
and ensure proper drainage
Load, deliver, and stage materials; operate small equipment (skid steer/mini-excavator a plus)
Maintain safety standards and a clean, skilled job site
What You Bring
Proven interlock/hardscape installation experience (2+ years preferred)
Own tools and equipment suitable for interlock work (e.g., plate compactor, cutoff/brick saw, hand tools, levels, screed bars)
Reliable transportation; valid driver’s license
Physical ability to lift 50–80 lbs and work outdoors in varying conditions
Strong eye for detail, quality, and site safety
Ability to read plans, set grades, and work independently or lead a small crew
Current insurance/WSIB (for subcontractors) is an asset
Safety certifications (e.g., WHMIS, Working at Heights) are an asset
