Support the Township of Springwater as an Outdoor Maintenance Worker during the winter. This seasonal role focuses on essential community services like sidewalk and roadway maintenance.

The Township is in search of one temporary, full time Outdoor Maintenance Worker. Your duties will include conducting winter maintenance, operating heavy machinery, and assisting with other municipal work. Accurately maintaining records and conducting safety inspections are vital aspects of this role to ensure community safety throughout the winter months.

Key Responsibilities:
• Execute winter roadway and sidewalk clearing operations
• Provide assistance to construction and maintenance teams
• Operate plow trucks and industrial equipment




• Maintain accurate records of equipment and maintenance
• Conduct safety inspections regularly on equipment

Requirements:
• Secondary School Diploma required
• 2-5 years’ relevant experience necessary
• Must have a valid Ontario Class AR license, AZ preferred
• Ability to perform manual labor in weather extremes
• Understanding of safety protocols and operational standards
