Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX
As a Senior Planner, Supply Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE;), you are responsible for driving end-to-end execution alignment within the tactical planning horizon, ensuring supply, demand, and inventory decisions translate into actionable outcomes. You play a critical role in bridging planning and execution, coordinating across global and regional partners to manage risk, optimize outcomes, and enable informed decision making. You will act as a subject‑matter expert within tactical planning, partnering with cross‑functional teams to assess risks, align on mitigation strategies, and improve planning outcomes. Your analytical expertise will help connect supply impacts to business performance and recommended solutions. This role offers the opportunity to strengthen processes, build relationships, and develop advanced problem‑solving capabilities through hands‑on experience.

This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

Meet Your Future Team
Planning aligns inventory, supply and business priorities to ensure products are available where and when they are needed. The team develops planning strategies, establishes key priorities and KPIs, and partners cross‑functionally with Merchandising, Finance, Sourcing and Operations teams to deliver integrated plans. Through scenario planning, supply‑demand balancing and forecast optimisation, Global Planning enables informed decision‑making and agile responses to evolving business needs. By connecting long‑range strategy with day‑to‑day execution, the team helps drive operational efficiency, inventory productivity and sustainable growth across the global business.

Core Activities

Owning the Supply inputs to S&OE; in the operational planning horizon

Connecting in with Hong Kong Office T1/T2 Production teams, and translating production impact back to business teams

Leading communication of impacts of production changes back to cross‑functional planning teams and coordinating production prioritisation

Escalating post‑buy issues to Inventory Planners (Global and Regional) with alternatives/recommendations and trade‑offs/implications (financial, service level, sustainability, worker well‑being, etc.), facilitating resolution when needed

Rolling up production planning updates for regional communication

Overseeing delivery of global supply into regions, working across all levels to help drive alignment and action

Partnering and collaborating with Global & Regional Merch & Demand Planning teams to adjust plans for changes in production or transit





Coordinating data analysis and actions in the case of supply disruptions (Quality, Compliance, Global, etc.)

Analyzing and conveying Supplier Delivery Performance & On‑Time to provide actionable insights and learnings

Troubleshooting, auditing, and resolving complex issues in scenarios with ambiguity and uncertainty

Future Projects

Identifying opportunities to simplify and streamline execution processes, reducing complexity while improving speed and accuracy

Enhancing supplier performance management, leveraging data and analytics to drive improved reliability, accountability and long‑term partnerships

Leading the creation of robust disruption playbooks (quality, compliance, geopolitical, capacity constraints), improving speed and consistency of response

Qualifications

5‑8 years experience in Supply Planning, Production Planning or a relevant supply‑chain role

Expert knowledge of concepts within T1/T2 Supply Planning & production processes and general supply‑chain flow

Detailed knowledge of factory production planning and process, production management and supply‑chain nodes

Ability to build relationships at all levels, both internally and externally, and leverage those relationships to drive alignment and action

Strong data analysis background, with experience using o9, Excel and Power BI

Solid knowledge of SAP and/or equivalent ERP/Planning systems and order‑management processes

Self‑motivated, capable of working independently as well as a strong team player collaborating with cross‑functional teams

Green Belt Six Sigma Certifications & Supply Chain Certification (APICS) desirable

Excellent written and oral communication skills, with demonstrated analytical capabilities and business savvy; focus on detail accuracy and a strong aim to improve existing process and systems

Advanced analytical skills to investigate, troubleshoot, audit and/or resolve complex issues in scenarios with uncertainty and ambiguity

Strong time‑management skills; work well with deadlines and under pressure; ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a rapid‑paced environment

Strong interpersonal skills and enjoy working in a people‑facing role

Experience with o9 or a similar advanced planning system

Proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation : Salary range CAD$94,000 – CAD$124,000. Most new team members join between the start and midpoint of the range, where you can contribute right away while continuing to grow your craft, collaborations and impact at ARC’TERYX.
