HR Operations
Act as a primary HR contact for employee and manager inquiries.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
Support HR programs, policies, audits, compliance activities, and reporting requirements.
Assist with HR documentation, employee communications, and policy administration.
Recruitment & Onboarding
Coordinate full‑cycle recruitment, including posting, screening, interview scheduling, reference checks, and offer preparation.
Support onboarding and orientation programs for recent hires.
Maintain and update job descriptions in partnership with hiring managers.
Employee Relations
Provide guidance on routine employee relations matters and escalate complex issues as required.
Support workplace investigations, performance management, and disciplinary processes.
Assist with employee engagement, wellness, recognition, and DEI initiatives.
Compensation, Benefits & Payroll Support
Coordinate employee benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations.
Partner with Payroll and Shared Services to ensure accurate employee data management.
Conduct periodic audits of payroll and benefits information.
Compliance & Health & Safety
Support compliance with federal and provincial employment legislation, human rights, occupational health and safety, and workers' compensation requirements.
Assist with policy updates and legislative monitoring.
Support health and safety programs, JHSC activities, claims administration, and return‑to‑work processes.
Training & Development
Coordinate employee training, compliance programs, and professional development initiatives.
Maintain training records and track completion requirements.
Support learning and leadership development programs.
Prepare HR metrics and reports, including headcount, turnover, recruitment, and training data.
Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, systems, and workflows.
Participate in HR and cross‑functional projects as assigned.
About You
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
3–8 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
Bilingual in English and French (written and verbal).
Strong knowledge of Canadian employment legislation, human rights, occupational health and safety, and workers' compensation requirements.
Proficiency with HRIS systems such as Dayforce, ADP, or similar platforms.
Strong communication, organizational, and relationship‑building skills.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Legally authorized to work in Canada.
Must currently reside within the Greater Toronto Area and be permitted to work in Canada.
Salary Range
$70,000 - $80,000 / year
