Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Leasing Paralegal to join our in‑house legal team. Reporting to the General Counsel, you will support a large commercial real estate portfolio across multiple jurisdictions, working closely with our leasing and property management teams.

Responsibilities

- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial leases, letters of intent, amendments, renewals, assignments, subleases, and ancillary leasing documents
- Manage the leasing document lifecycle from LOI through execution, coordinating with leasing and property management teams to meet deal timelines
- Maintain lease templates and standard clauses, including step‑down language, across jurisdictions
- Review tenant redlines, flag material deviations from company standards, and escalate significant issues to the General Counsel
- Prepare ancillary documents such as estoppels, SNDAs, landlord waivers, and consents
- Support broader corporate and real‑estate matters as needed

Qualifications





- 3–5 years of experience in commercial real estate leasing
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to manage a large workload independently
- Excellent communication skills and sound professional judgment
- Experience with AI drafting tools (e.g., Spellbook) is an asset

Salary and Perks

$80,000 - $100,000 CAD Per Year Based On Experience
