Your main responsibilities
Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety rules
Oversee and manage municipal engineering projects from inception through completion
Review engineering design drawings, specifications, and contract documents
Experience with lift stations, pumping systems, and treatment systems would be an asset
Report writing and document preparation
Construction contract management
Project management experience
Cost estimating experience
Liaison with clients and contractors
Ability to coordinate designs and construction inspections with multiple disciplines
Self-motivated with leadership ability
Possess good written and verbal communications skills
Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
Coordinate designs and construction inspections with multiple disciplines
Provide mentorship and support to junior engineers and technologists.
What makes you unique
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
10+years experience in water distribution, wastewater collection, transportation, stormwater management, and drainage systems
Must have a P.Eng Designation and in good standing with APEGA
Proficiency in computer software for modelling and spreadsheet analysis
Demonstrated aptitude for general construction methods
Strong business acumen and understanding of municipal infrastructure projects
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team atmosphere
Self-motivated with leadership potential
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Local to Red Deer Alberta or open to Relocation
