and technical coordinationDevelop relay settings and protection philosophyProvide detailed QA/QC for P&C; design packagesProvide training to junior P&C; engineer and designersAttending FAT, inspections, and provide site support as neededAssist with utility coordination and interconnection processes for renewable energy projects including solar, wind, and battery energy storage systemsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or related field requiredProfessional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain5+ years of experience in power system engineering, substation protection and controls, transmission planning, or renewable energy integrationExperience with high-voltage substation P&C; design including relays, batteries, chargers, SCADA interfaces, and control panelsFamiliarity with power system analysis software such as PSSE, ETAP, ASPEN, SKM, or similar toolsExperience performing power system studies including load flow, short circuit, protection coordination, and arc flash analysisWorking knowledge of industry standards including IEEE, NERC, NEC,



and NESCExperience supporting utility coordination and interconnection processes for energy projects preferredExperience with networking devices and communciation configurationExperience with ASPENExperience with relay settingsAbility to manage technical deliverables while supporting project schedules and deadlinesStrong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration and technical documentationProficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and OutlookBENEFITSRRC is committed to investing in talented employees because we recognize that healthy, happy employees provide the best path to sustaining a successful business.
