About The Role
We are actively searching for a Supervisor, Mine Maintenance to join the Côté Gold Mine Maintenance team. The Mine Maintenance Supervisor will lead daily maintenance operations, optimizing workforce and resource allocation to ensure maximum equipment reliability and zero‑harm execution. The role is site‑based on a 14 on 14 off schedule in Gogama.
Responsibilities
Act as a courageous safety leader by enforcing compliance with environmental policies, conducting worksite inspections, leading incident investigations, and reinforcing a zero‑harm culture.
Provide clear direction, motivation, and resource allocation (personnel and equipment)
to the shift maintenance workforce to consistently meet production targets and deliverables.
Cultivate an inclusive, team-oriented work culture by setting clear performance expectations, conducting objective reviews, and modeling discipline and dedication.
Drive employee performance and technical growth through active mentorship, timely feedback, and targeted training aligned with the current and future needs of Côté Gold.
Analyze maintenance KPIs and critical data to challenge the status quo, reduce costs, eliminate waste, and optimize mobile maintenance service efficiency.
Introduce modern approaches, methods, and strategic policies to enhance equipment reliability while ensuring strict compliance with industry regulations and organizational standards.
Partner seamlessly across multi‑disciplinary site teams to resolve complex operational challenges, coordinate cross‑functional activities, and achieve shared business goals.
Ensure precise, accurate completion of equipment and shift logs while proactively communicating deficiencies to relevant stakeholders for immediate follow‑up.
Job Qualifications
Key Skills & Knowledge
7 or more years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Technician.
1 or more years of leadership experience.
Previous exposure to lean and multi‑disciplinary team leadership is desirable, but not essential.
Digital literacy and experience with fleet management systems is required.
Relevant Experience
College diploma in heavy equipment technician or another related field.
Certificate of Qualification in Ontario is preferred.
Completed apprenticeship is required.
