What You’ll Do
Welcome and advise in‑store customers and perform related tasks such as order preparation and follow‑up
Provide administrative and technical support to internal clients.
Provide creative customer service techniques, show an ability to source products and maintain satisfactory inventory levels
Capable of communicating on multiple levels with external customers with the objective of increasing counter sales through upselling
Support Branch Manager in obtaining all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), safety goals and an excellent net operating profit
Pre‑call customer orders
Responsible for entering invoices into SAP, preparing credit notes, sorting documents, filing, and processing telephone orders
Actively solicit new sales in store and via outgoing calls
Maximize counter sales and handle telephone enquiries from customers or prospective customers
Receive incoming hardgoods shipments from vendors and intercompany warehouses
What It Takes
Minimum of 1 year experience as an inside sales or administrative experience preferably in an industrial environment.
Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent experience.
Comfortable with computers with the Microsoft Office suite.
Industrial sales skills
Ability to handle and lift goods up to 50 lbs.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Assets To Have
Knowledge of the gas and/or welding industry
Knowledge of SAP software
