Our client, a versatile, multi-disciplinary firm of engineers, architects, surveyors, and urban planners offering consulting services for land development and public sector projects, is seeking a Civil Designer or Engineer to work out of their Vancouver office. This is a permanent, full-time, hybrid position, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive advantages and vacation package. The successful candidate will have 3-7 years’ experience of stormwater, water and wastewater experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare studies, reports, design documents, and design plans and specifications for storm, water and wastewater projects.
- Prepare storm, water and wastewater hydraulic models.
- Minor system capacity analysis
- HGL analysis
- Watershed analysis,
hydrograph and peak discharge development and routing
- Flood analysis
- Stormwater quantity / quality calculations
- Watermain analysis
Qualifications
- An Engineering Degree from an Accredited Institution.
- Registered EIT or licensed P.Eng
- 3-7+ years of water/wastewater design experience.
- Strong work ethic and motivation to succeed.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and must be well organized to be able to prioritize multiple tasks and demonstrate a flexible approach to work assignments
