Overview Role to create and ready engineering drawings and designs, operate CAD workstations, and prepare drawing sets and documentation bundles. Ensure drawings adhere to specifications and design data, verify accuracy, and report technical information.
Responsibilities Create and prepare engineering drawings and designs.
Operate CAD and drawing workstations to produce drawing sets and documentation bundles.
Check and validate design drawings against specifications and data.
Prepare contracts, bid paperwork, construction specifications, and cost/material estimates.
Ensure drawings and documents meet project requirements and maintain quality standards.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering or design.
CAD certification; advanced proficiency in CAD and AutoCAD.
Experience as a CAD technician (minimum 2 years).
Ability to read and translate blueprints and technical drawings.
Basic comprehension of mechanical and construction design procedures.
Strong attention to detail and excellent time management.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team; solid communication skills.
Employment Details Full time, permanent position.
Hours: 30 to 35 per week; day, early morning, or morning shifts.
Salary: $31.00 – $40.87 per hour.
