St Barbara is recruiting a Senior Metallurgist for the Touquoy mine, reporting to the Site Manager. This full-time role requires a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, extensive leadership experience, and a commitment to safety protocols. You’ll lead the development of protected practices and ensure compliance within your department while managing operational planning.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and enforce high safety standards within the department
• Develop and manage TMF Operational Manuals and Plans
• Ensure continuous production improvement through KPI optimization




• Oversee budgeting for metallurgical and assay lab operations
• Mentor personnel on best practices and safety measures

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical or a related engineering discipline
• P.Eng. registration or ability to achieve it
• Project Management Professional qualification preferred
• 8+ years of relevant industrial experience
• Knowledge of metallurgical extraction processes preferred
