Job Description
We’re seeking an Intermediate Procurement Specialist to manage the full lifecycle of procurement activities for medium-to-high complexity packages, including systems, equipment, and materials. This is an prospect to work on a program that shapes the future of maritime defense while advancing your career in a dynamic, high-impact environment.

Responsibilities

Support program milestones by planning and coordinating material requirements to meet production schedules.

Identify, communicate, and mitigate material risks through cross-functional collaboration.

Manage emergent material needs, replacement requests, and engineering changes.

Develop, monitor, and report supply chain performance metrics.

Represent Procurement at production and stakeholder meetings.

Coordinate supplier onsite support, ensuring compliance with safety and security requirements.

Lead procurement support for major project milestones and drive KPI achievement for material requests and issue resolution.

Manage procurement activities related to warranty claims, including supplier warranty enforcement and part replacement/repair coordination.

Support new product introduction initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement efforts within Procurement and Supply Chain operations.

Qualifications

University degree or equivalent experience in industry preferred.

Supply Chain/Project Management accreditation: SCMP,



MCIPS or PMP would be an asset.

Minimum 3 years of experience in end-to-end supply chain and procurement activities.

Preferred experience in shipbuilding, aerospace, defense, heavy manufacturing, or construction industries.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex procurement processes.

Demonstrated ability to analyze and synthesize large amounts of information with high attention to detail.

Eligibility & Requirements
All successful applicants must meet requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

This position requires a full-time, in-office presence.
