Location: Canadian Tire Bayers Lake – Store 465 (Halifax, NS)

Job Type: Full-time

Summary
This high-profile, growth-oriented Halifax store has a constructive, goal-oriented culture for its staff. We are a high-volume, flat rate shop with a fair work-share policy, operating in a team setting, and led by a highly experienced Service Manager with over 40 years in the automotive industry. Responsibilities

Perform accurate vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs to industry flat rate time allowances

Provide accurate estimates and written vehicle reports for all work performed

Explain procedures and repairs to customers to build trust and long-term retention

Liaise with Management, Service Advisors, and Parts to ensure smooth workflow during repairs

Instruct, monitor, and share knowledge with apprentices

Perform daily bay inspections to maintain shop cleanliness and safety

Perform road tests in compliance with store policy

Report unsafe vehicles or shop hazards to management immediately

Comply with all company, store, and health & safety policies





Requirements

Red Seal Inter-Provincial Certification

Level 4 apprentices with sufficient logged hours will also be considered

CFC Handling Certification

Valid driver's license with a clean abstract for the province of employment

Ability to work effectively with computerized systems; CoStar experience an asset

Strong knowledge of current automotive technology across domestic and imported vehicles

Compensation & Benefits

Annual earnings typically range from $80,000–$100,000+, depending on productivity
