Reporting to the Regional Lead, Cultural Safety & Anti‑Indigenous Racism Education, and in direct collaboration with the Northern Health teams in Indigenous Health, Organizational Education, Clinical Education and Organizational Development, the Education Coordinator, Indigenous Health (the Coordinator) works collaboratively with all Northern Health departments and Indigenous community partners and internal/external stakeholders, to identify, develop, coordinate,



facilitate and inform educational opportunities in alignment with Northern Health's commitment to addressing Anti‑Indigenous racism and commitment to building trust and cultural safety in the delivery of all programs and services. The coordinator will advise, inform, and support leaders across Northern Health, facilitating development that engages leaders to model and become champions of progressive leadership in pursuit of cultural safety, respect and equitable treatment for First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. The coordinator will establish and maintain an active network of Indigenous subject matter experts, elders, and educators across the North and facilitate their invitation to contribute to and collaborate with Northern Health's teams in the development and delivery of education opportunities for Northern Health.

Starting salary will be approximately from $76,111 to $95,138 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.
