Job Title: Operations Specialist
Location: Toronto, Canada
Pay Range: Starting from CAD $50,000 annually + Annual Bonus
Employment Type: Full-Time
What You'll Do:
I. Warehouse & Fulfillment Execution
- Serve as the primary liaison with third-party / co-managed warehouses, overseeing daily inbound, outbound, transfer, and return operations.
- Coordinate shipments based on sales forecasts and order plans, ensuring orders are fulfilled on time, in full, and in compliance with requirements.
- Track and resolve order exceptions (short shipments, mis-shipments, missed shipments, delays), driving timely resolution and full closure with warehouse partners.
II. Inventory & Data Management
- Monitor warehouse inventory data to ensure system inventory aligns with physical inventory.
- Conduct regular inventory reconciliations (system vs. physical / system vs. system), follow up on discrepancies, and drive necessary adjustments.
- Proactively identify and flag inventory risks, including stockouts, excess inventory, and aging/near-expiry stock.
III. Exception & Issue Management
Manage and resolve warehouse-related exceptions such as loss, damage, mis-shipments, and delivery delays.
- Support claims, replacements, reshipments, and corrective action processes as needed.
- Perform root-cause analysis and work with warehouse partners to improve operational processes and prevent recurrence.
IV. Coordination & Communication
- Act as the single point of contact between the company and warehouse partners.
- Collaborate closely with sales, customer service, procurement, and other internal teams to ensure end-to-end fulfillment efficiency.
- Ensure warehouse operations comply with SOPs and proactively recommend process improvements when gaps are identified.
V. Process & Optimization
- Participate in the development and continuous improvement of inbound, outbound, and returns SOPs.
- Prepare and maintain basic operations reports (inbound/outbound volume, inventory turnover, exception rates, etc.).
- Assist in evaluating warehouse partner performance, including service levels, timeliness, and error rates.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field
- 1+ years of progressive experience in 3PL or warehouse operations
- Bilingual in Mandarin preferred
