Location: Downtown Montreal OR Toronto – Hybrid (3 days onsite/week, Monday or Friday mandatory)
Pay Rate: CAD $100–110/hr
Job Summary
Seeking an IT Observability Infrastructure Technician with experience supporting enterprise monitoring and observability platforms in a 24/7 production environment. The role involves infrastructure monitoring, automation, scripting, platform integration, and Level 2/3 support across Linux/Unix and Windows environments.
ITRS Geneos and Dynatrace experience are a must have
Must-Have Skills
3–5 years of experience in infrastructure monitoring/observability environments
Robust Linux/Unix administration and Windows knowledge
Experience with Dynatrace, ITRS Geneos, OpenTelemetry, and Alerting tools
Knowledge of SQL, databases, firewalls, networking, certificates, and load balancing
Scripting experience with Python, Perl, or Bash
Experience with Ansible, Jenkins, Git, and automation tools
Experience providing Level 2/3 production support
Dynatrace certification required (or within 3 months of start)
