As Maintenance Manager, you will:

- Plan, coordinate and carry out preventative maintenance, repairs and project activities for equipment and systems to ensure optimal facility operations. Duties include mechanical, electrical and carpentry/structural work involving ventilation systems, small builds, water systems, pumps, motors, feed systems, heaters, furnace systems, pressure washers and trucks for three designated buildings and a truck wash.

- Collaborate with Site Managers to determine their maintenance needs, create action plans and prioritize projects. Complete daily, monthly and annual site checks. Oversee and guide a four-person maintenance team, managing resources and adjusting priorities to ensure service delivery.

- Evaluate and recommend equipment upgrades and process improvements to enhance reliability, efficiency, and output.

- Lead equipment failure analysis efforts, troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues.Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including technical reports, modification records, and maintenance procedures.

- Help shape how services are delivered and support the team in meeting quality, productivity, and turnaround time goals.





- Maintain record keeping within all software platforms to ensure records are fully updated on a weekly basis

- Develop and deliver an agreed upon budget for the areas of responsibility, including: a) order parts and supplies; b) maintain inventory levels of commonly used parts and supplies; c) Develop and recommend a 3-year strategic plan & priority items for building upgrades, renovations, safety enhancements, etc.

- Supervise, inspect, and audit truck wash operations to ensure adherence to sanitation standards, SOP compliance, and overall quality requirements.

- Manage related human resource responsibilities for direct reports, including labour planning, performance management, recruitment, training, development, and onboarding for new employees.

- Manage projects and oversee to completion. Oversee outside contractors to complete work beyond the scope of the maintenance team.

As the selected applicant, you will bring:

Education:

- Completion of a Trades, Mechanical Diploma or related discipline. An equivalence of training and hands-on experience will be considered.
- Knowledge of engineering/technical concepts is an asset.

Experience:

- 5+ years relevant maintenance and project management experience.



A broad range of expertise in the areas of mechanical, electrical, carpentry and structural.
- Experience in the industrial or agriculture industry is an asset, including managing a department budget and ensuring safety compliance.

Computer:

- Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software applications.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8:00-5:00 Overtime (exempt): Must be willing to work hours as needed operationally, which can vary frequently and may include weekend, evening, holidays and emergency situations.
