Overview Ferrovial Construction Canada Inc. and VINCI Construction Grands Projets are undertaking the design, build, and finance the Ontario Line Southern Civil, Stations, and Tunnel (South Civil) package. As Ontario Transit Group (OTG), we are mobilizing our design and construction crews for major works. The South Civil contract is anticipated to be completed in 2030 and will support economic growth with an estimated 1,500 jobs at peak construction. The project includes a six-kilometer tunnel with associated tunnelling works from Exhibition to Don Yard portal (west of the Don River) and multiple stations: One above-ground station integrated with the GO Transit Exhibition Station. Two underground stations integrated with TTC Osgoode and Queen subway stations. Four new underground stations (King/Bathurst, Queen/Spadina, Moss Park, Corktown). Job Description The Project Manager, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) will manage the delivery of Mechanical and Electrical packages across several stations, including HVAC, Plumbing (sanitary, water distribution), Drainage System, low voltage distribution, lighting, grounding & bonding, and fire alarm systems. Salary range: $145,000 - $195,000 CAD, plus additional benefits. Key Responsibilities Project Leadership: Lead and manage MEP works for several stations, ensuring they are executed efficiently, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. Planning and Scheduling: Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery of MEP systems. Resource Management: Coordinate with internal and external teams, including subcontractors and vendors, to allocate resources effectively and meet project objectives. Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control processes to ensure MEP systems meet design specifications and regulatory requirements. Cost Control: Monitor project costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure projects stay within budget. Risk Management:



Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions to MEP project timelines and budgets. Client Communication: Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and ensuring their needs are met throughout the project. Safety Compliance: Promote and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members and subcontractors. Reporting: Provide regular project status updates, financial reports, and performance metrics to senior management and stakeholders. Procurement: Implement procurement strategy and procedures, prepare technical documents for tenders, review tenderers and suppliers ' proposals, and review purchase requisitions and subcontracts. Engineering: With the support of the MEP technical department, coordinate and review shop drawings, material approvals, and related documentation; coordinate in-house shop drawings; ensure construction methods and material/equipment selection are consistent; manage interfacesbetween suppliers and sub-contractors; coordinate testing and commissioning procedures; set up final project handover documentation (as-built packages). Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is an asset. Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in MEP project management, preferably in large-scale infrastructure projects and within Ontario. Qualified Engineering (P.Eng) designation or relevant certifications are an asset. Experience in TVS and/or FPS is an asset. Proven track record of managing MEP works greater than $50m CAD in value.



Strong knowledge of MEP systems and industry best practices within the Greater Toronto Area, including experience working with unions. Proficiency in relevant codes and standards (e.G., Ontario Building Code, NFPA, SMACNA). Ability to understand and execute the responsibilities of applicable contracts, including OTG 's upstream Contract with Metrolinx and downstream Subcontracts with MEP Subcontractors. Dynamic, detail-oriented, and adaptable to new concepts, systems, processes, and methods to achieve improvements and optimal results. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced construction environment.
