Profile: Our client is a well-established company that specializes in HVAC products and services and is looking for an experience Director of Operations. You must have experience in HVAC and managing employees who are on the road at clients, across Quebec.

Territory: Province of Quebec

Workplace: Office location in Greater Montreal

Products/Services: HVAC products and services

Salary: Base $140,000

Commissions/Bonus:TBD

Car allowance: Km reimbursed

Functions:

- Lead the day-to-day operations of the business and make sure teams have what they need to succeed
- Help managers and employees work together effectively while maintaining a high level of service for customers
- Ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time to meet customer and project demands
- Look for ways to improve efficiency, solve problems, and make operations run more smoothly




- Support project and service teams in managing workloads, timelines, and resources
- Track results and take action when performance is not meeting expectations
- Hire, coach, and develop team members while helping build future leaders within the organization
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives
- Create a positive and accountable work environment where people enjoy coming to work and performing at their best
- Work closely with the leadership team

Requirements:

Development vs Maintenance: N/A

Road vs Office: 20% vs 80%

Languages: French and English (written and spoken)

Education: Diploma in Industrial engineering is an asset

Training: On the job training provided

Overnight Travel: 10%

Years of experience: At least 7 years in the role of Operations Director

Other requirements: Great at priority management

Transferable Knowledge:

- Knowledge of HVAC is a must
- Demonstrated leadership skills
