We are hiring a Non Ferrous Receiver for our Dartmouth, Nova Scotia facility. Join us in promoting metal recycling with a focus on customer service and site maintenance.
This full-time permanent position involves working closely with the Site Manager. Key duties include sorting ferrous metals, conducting site maintenance, and using the RECY system for accurate truck weighing. Successful candidates will also operate forklifts and ensure equipment upkeep while delivering fantastic customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Receive, sort, and categorize ferrous metals
• Weigh trucks using the RECY system efficiently
• Perform general maintenance around the site
• Keep equipment in excellent working order
• Provide excellent service to clients visiting the site
Requirements:
• Crane operation experience required
• Must work outdoors in all weather
• Good physical condition for heavy lifting
• Robust teamwork and collaboration skills
• Metal recycling background is an asset
