Job Overview

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Casual/Relief position. The role collaborates with an interprofessional health care team to provide protected, quality, patient- and family-centered care at Edson Healthcare Centre, Assisted Living Alberta.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with the health care team to deliver safe, quality patient and family centered care.
- Apply nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Follow education, experience and demonstrated skill level, complying with applicable legislation, standards of practice, policies and procedures.
- Reflect the shared vision and values of the organization in all care activities.

Required Qualifications

- Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program.
- Active or eligible registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses and Health Care Aides of Alberta (CLHA).




- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
