Reporting to the Business Systems Manager, this role plays a critical part in designing, building, and maintaining software solutions that power inventory management, factory workflow, shipping processes, ERP synchronization, and customer‐facing applications.You will collaborate closely with operations business analyst liaisons and cross‐functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and efficient technical solutions. In addition to hands‐on development, you will oversee backlog refinement, provide task estimation, conduct code reviews, and guide release planning to ensure high‐quality deliverables aligned with Longboard's operational goals.This is a leadership role that combines technical excellence, strategic thinking, and team mentorship in a fast‐paced manufacturing environment.About YouYou are a highly skilled Python engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and leading others to success. with strong expertise in Python and ReactJS5+ years of experience writing complex SQL queries2+ years of experience leading or mentoring a development teamStrong testing and debugging skillsExcellent organizational, time management, and communication skillsExperience working with JIRA and managing backlogsNice To HaveERP integration experience, ideally with AcumaticaCRM integration experience, ideally SalesforceFastAPI experienceJenkins experienceDocker or Kubernetes experienceAWS experienceYAML configuration experienceZebra enterprise browser or ZPL for barcode and label formattingARGO experienceWhat You Will DoLead a small team of developers, distributing and prioritizing tasks within JIRAReview and refine the JIRA backlog alongside the Business Systems ManagerProvide accurate task estimates and support sprint and release planningConduct thorough code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standardsDesign and implement scalable, secure, and efficient software solutionsDevelop and maintain applications supporting manufacturing operations, ERP integrations, APIs, and internal and external web platformsIdentify system bottlenecks and resolve defectsWrite clean, well‐documented code and maintain technical documentation in ConfluenceTest and polish solutions prior to production releaseCollaborate with product managers, analysts, designers, and stakeholders to align technical outcomes with business objectivesSupport future integrations, including Salesforce for order and product managementContribute innovative ideas to continuously improve systems and processesOur current tech stack includes Python,
