We acknowledge the value of transferable skills.Key Accountabilities:Interface daily with operations, maintenance, planning, and other engineering disciplines on equipment performance issuesDevelop and optimize detailed mechanical equipment inspection and repair plans for field executionMonitor and troubleshoot mechanical equipment health including conveyors, sizers, rotary wet screens, pumps, tanks/vessels, and piping systemsConduct and support root cause analysis investigations of mechanical equipment issues or failuresLead mechanical engineering management of change (MOC) initiatives focused on equipment availability and cost improvementsSupport in rationalizing future spend activities, preparations for outages and shutdowns, and input into planning processesLocation and other key detailsYou will work out of our camp-based Fort Hills mining site, located in Alberta’s Athabasca region, 90 kilometres north of Fort McMurray, AlbertaThe shift schedule is a seven (7) days on / seven (7) days off rotationOur engineering roles follow internal compensation guidelines and the pay band will generally be based years of experience and scope of workThink we are a fit?
