We are presently searching for our next excellent team member as a Lift Operator to join our Alpine Operations team. If you can provide our guests with an amazing experience, combined with working as an energetic part of our resort, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities include: (but not limited to)

Greeting every guest with a smile and friendly comment

Providing physical assistance to guests loading or unloading from various lifts, including Chairlifts, T-bars, Handle Tows.

Performing all Safety Check required by BC Authorities regarding Passenger Ropeways operations before opening.

Listening to and assisting guests; seeking additional information from lead hand or supervisor in order to answer guest inquiries

Notifying lead hand or supervisor in the event of unsafe, unusual, abnormal situations or incidents

Preparing and completing documentation required by BC Safety Authority

Controlling line-ups by directing guests to appropriate queues

Continually shoveling snow from load/unload ramps, raking and grooming ramps

Shoveling snow around the resort as needed

Assisting transport with manual labor tasks; digging in winter signage

Keeping lift stations clear of snow and ice,



and keeping lift huts, tools and loading/unloading areas clear of clutter

Providing lift passengers with dry, de-iced seats and maintaining them during periods of precipitation

Other Duties as assigned

This is a Seasonal Position, so you must be able to commit to the role for the full Winter Season (November-April). As a seasonal team member, you may be presented with opportunities to cross train and support in other departments to meet seasonal demands.

Job Requirements / Qualifications

Skiing or Snowboarding experience preferred

Possess excellent interpersonal skills

Ability to always provide excellent guest service, especially during periods of inclement weather

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and shovel snow for extended periods

Able to work early mornings, weekends and all holidays

Must enjoy working outdoors in varied weather conditions

On-the-job training provided; must pass a lift operator exam

OFA Lv3 is considered an asset.
