Job Description
We are looking for a experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and a keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with Canadian accounting standards

Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, bank accounts, credit card and intercompany transactions.

Performing month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.

Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, management reports, budgets, and cash-flow forecasts.

Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and provide financial insights and recommendations to management.

Prepare and file GST/HST returns, payroll remittances, T4 and other government filings accurately and on time.

Assist with corporate income tax returns, and other CRA compliance requirements.

Ensure compliance with CRA requirements, applicable provincial regulations, accounting standards, and company policies.





Take full responsibility for payroll administration and the accurate and timely completion of EHT filings and remittances.

Assist with special projects and perform other accounting duties as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.

3 to 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $60,000-$100,000 per year
