- Study drawings and specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, and the sequence of machining operations using knowledge of shop mathematics, metal properties, and the methodology and procedures of machining.
- Verify conformance of the detail to specifications by using measuring instruments such as scales, calipers, micrometers, Vernier, and fixed gauges.
- Recognize the functions of the specific Controller capabilities program parameters to load, evaluate and run a specific program.
- Input additions, deletions and changes to the machining program as instructed by the CAM department.
- Decide and ensure assigned functions can be completed on specific machines.
- Work on both custom and production steel fabricated parts.

Qualifications:





- Completed high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year proven experience in machining.
- Completed Apprentice Program and Certification in the trade would be a bonus
- Experience and training in the use of cranes, slings, and hoists.
- Experience with Heidenheim Controllers on Boring Mill Machines
- Skills: Ability to read and understand blueprints, basic understanding of GD&T; with an attention to detail.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team setting.

Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
