Description Are you an experienced Excavator Operator looking for an exciting opportunity to work on a major industrial project? At Ledcor, we take pride in safety and quality, and we’re looking for dedicated professionals to join our team for a major expansion project in Fort Saskatchewan, AB.
Essential Responsibilities Operate excavators ranging from 5T to 25T safely and efficiently
Complete daily pre-use inspections and report any equipment deficiencies or maintenance requirements
Follow site-specific safety procedures and manufacturer operating guidelines
Perform excavation, trenching, grading and backfilling
Work closely with site supervision and ground crews to complete work safely and according to project specifications
Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance requirements
Follow all company safety policies and site-specific procedures
Adhere to all Ledcor, client, and regulatory health, safety, and environmental requirements
Requirements 3+ years experience operating 5T to 25T excavators in a construction or industrial environment
Finish grade experience is considered a strong asset
Can operate equipment with and without GPS preferred
Understanding of industrial site safety practices
Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial or construction workplace
Valid issued government photo Identification
Project-specific online orientations must be completed
Work Conditions 10 days on, 4 days off rotational schedule
Extended health benefits provided through CLAC
Weekly payment of wages
Work in all weather conditions year-round and willing to lend a hand where needed
Candidates must reside in the Greater Edmonton Region
