Our client is searching for a Conduct & Discipline Lead to join their growing team. Reporting directly to the Director, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys investigation, problem-solving, leadership, and regulatory work. The candidate will play a key role in overseeing the complaints process, preparing reports and recommendations, supporting tribunal proceedings, and helping build a high-performing team during an exciting period of transformation.

Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability To

Oversee the organization's complaints process from intake through disposition, ensuring files progress efficiently and in accordance with regulatory requirements

Review complaints, supporting documentation, and responses to identify key issues and determine whether matters warrant further investigation

Analyze and synthesize large volumes of information into clear, objective, and well-supported reports for decision-makers

Act as a primary resource for complainants and stakeholders by explaining processes, answering inquiries, and de-escalating challenging situations

Coach, mentor, and develop members of the Conduct & Discipline team while contributing to departmental growth and succession planning





Identify opportunities for process improvements and help shape the future direction of the Conduct & Discipline function
Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of professionalism, confidentiality, and procedural fairness

Your strengths include

Accounting designation such as CPA is required due to the financial nature of the cases

Previous leadership or supervisory experience

Experience in compliance environments, investigations, forensics, risk management, or professional conduct matters

Exceptional critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

Robust report-writing and documentation skills with the ability to communicate complex issues clearly

Ability to review and assess large volumes of documentation while identifying key facts and risks

Excellent conflict resolution, stakeholder management, and emotional intelligence skills

Proven ability to remain objective and professional when dealing with sensitive or highly emotional situations

Comfortable working in a changing environment and helping build processes and teams from the ground up

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively
