Responsibilities:
Ensure thatTrican's core value, "Safe equipment and operations" is thepriority in all activities
Perform repairsand upgrades to control systems while ensuring that Trican’s ElectronicStandards are met
Ensure FieldEmployees are aware of how the various electrical systems are employed tospecific unit applications
Maintain two-waycommunication with the Team Lead, Electronics Coordinator and Managementto ensure proper standards in the repairs, upgrades and techniques arebeing applied to the equipment
Reportdeficiencies found to the Lead Electronics Technician or ElectronicsCoordinator
Assist in thedevelopment and implementation of current technology
Experience& Skills:
2-yearpost-Secondary education in electronics, electrical or instrumentation ora related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of experienceand education
Experience withfracturing equipment is preferred
Valid Class 5Driver’s License
Physically Fit –heavy lifting required
Basic computer,serial communications and network troubleshooting skills are required
Ability toconsistently and accurately identify and troubleshoot problems
Excellentcommunication skills, both written and verbal
Prior fieldservice experience is preferred
Strong leadershipand managerial skills
