Join My Team as an Insurance Broker at Billyard Insurance Group Mississauga East Build Your Career With Real Support Behind You I'm a broker manager at BIG MIE, and I'm looking to bring a current broker onto my team — someone who wants to build a real career in insurance, not just take a job. This role is fully remote, but that doesn't mean you're on your own. My focus is making sure you're not left to figure things out by yourself just because you're not in an office. I'll be hands‑on with you from day one: helping you learn the systems, understand the products, and get comfortable talking to clients, so you can start writing business with confidence instead of guessing your way through it.
What This Role Looks Like You'll be quoting and processing personal and commercial lines policies (home, auto, and commercial — general liability, commercial auto, commercial property), using tools like PowerBroker and Applied Rating Services. You'll build your own client base and referral network, and manage renewals as your book grows — all from wherever you work best. As you develop, you'll take on more independence, but the goal is to get you there efficiently, not throw you in the deep end.




What I'll Help You With Getting oriented with the day-to-day workflow and our tools remotely
Understanding underwriting guidelines across our 30+ insurance partners
Building your first client relationships and referral sources
Learning what actually works for lead generation
Working through your first few quotes and renewals so you're not doing them cold
Regular check‑ins so you always know you have support, even working remotely
What I'm Looking For Valid RIBO license
Experience in personal or commercial lines is a plus, but not required if you're motivated to learn
Comfortable talking to people and building relationships
Self‑motivated and able to stay accountable in a remote setting, but open to guidance early on
Reliable internet and a quiet space to work from
