Typical Responsibilities
Depending on the employer, responsibilities may include:

Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of manufactured components and finished products.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and gauges to verify product quality.

Identify, document, and report quality concerns while working collaboratively with production and engineering teams.

Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate quality records.

Support investigations into non-conforming products and assist with corrective actions.

Ensure compliance with company quality standards and established inspection procedures.





Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, safety, and operational excellence.
