Insight is currently seeking X Ray Technologists to join our dynamic and expanding team. This is a permanent, full-time position with rotation across our 16 locations in Edmonton and the surrounding area.

Duties and Responsibilities: Prepares and performs a variety of standardized and/or complex procedures as set forth by the Radiologists and our referring Physicians.
Responsible for the operation and basic maintenance of all equipment.
DI Equipment: Must have working knowledge of all equipment and ensure all units are functioning correctly.
Responsible for maintaining safety and the general care and cleanliness of the radiographic area, with particular attention to radiation safety and infection control.
Knowledge of computer systems and all DI office duties.




Assist in the training of recent staff and students, as requested by MGM.
Willingness to cross train in BD, Fluoroscopy and ECG’s.

Skills: Committed to excellence in patient care, quality control and adherence to diagnostic imaging standards.
Clinical competency in medical radiography.
Comprehensive knowledge of diagnostic imaging procedures and practices.
Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications: Pain Management and Bone Densitometry trained preferred.
Completion of Medication Preparation training within the first three months of employment
CLXT: Enrolment in Bone Densitometry course within first three months of employment and completion within first 6 months of employment.
MRT: Completion of Bone Densitometry training within the first 3 months of employment.
CPR Standard First aid certificate is an asset.
