Product Manager – Implements and Attachments Kubota Canada LTD. is currently seeking a Product Manager – Implements and Attachments to join our Sales & Marketing team in Pickering, ON. Management of the assigned portfolio includes ownership of implement & attachment product portfolio and all associated KPI’s, development of short, mid and long term strategies for product portfolio, and project lead for cross functional activities/projects required to execute product strategy / reach line KPI’s. This posting represents a current vacancy. This is a hybrid position and requires 3 days in office.
Key Responsibilities: Ownership of implement & attachment product portfolio and all associated KPI’s for the line
Overall take ratio of implements / attachments to power units
Operational Earnings targets
Development of short, mid and long term strategies for product portfolio
Project lead for cross functional activities/projects required to execute product strategy/reach line KPI’s
Recent Product Introduction process
Tactical and strategic sales and marketing initiatives, retail incentive programs
Business planning for portfolio
Directing product knowledge asset creation, curation and rollout with training team
Drafting of project proposals with business plans require to support product portfolio KPI targets
Monitor and evaluate market conditions, competitor activities and market trends
Identification, proposal and ownership of projects and business cases
Delivery, curation and execution of actionable,
measurable and attainable short, mid and long term plans for the product line
Propose, and act as lead for, projects intended to directly advance the success of the product lines
Facilitate and motivate project team progress towards agreed goals
Track and report on KPI impacts of product projects
Active participation with the dealer network and field staff
Creation and execution of dealer product training sessions on territory
Plan for new product launch and product promotion w/marketing support
Engage with sister Kubota entities and 3rd party supplier partners
Qualifications : Extensive knowledge of compact construction equipment industry, tractor industry, turf industry & RTV industry
Sales, marketing and product management experience strongly preferred
Ability to positively influence cross functional teams
Understanding of intermediate level of business economics (P&L;, margins, market share analysis, retail financing, incentive programs etc.)
University degree or equivalent experience required
Compensation: Salary Range: $105,000 - $125,000
This range is provided in accordance with Ontario pay transparency legislation and reflects expected compensation for this role.
